Greetings fellow photographers,
This message is for all committed photographers, myself, JB and Susan Harlin, and some other committed photographers are launching a group and actual live event called Photo Arts Xchange aka PAX, check out the About Us page and learn the rest of the talent behind PAX. Our goal at first is to create a long weekend of image sharing with only a brief mention of tools and technique with the majority of focus on Concept and Content of one’s imagery. The free to all weekend event happens in Rocky Hill, CT, May 3-5, 2019 at my home if less than 25 attendees, or in a nearby hotel conference room if more than 25 participants will show work. Long-term goals are to gradually move the event West gaining an annual audience culminating with a week-long image sharing event in collaboration with the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, AZ. To be clear, this is not a vehicle to sell your books & videos or fill workshops, rather a free event to give back the knowledge that each of us have been blessed to acquired as a result of an uncommon commitment to a chosen genre of photography.
If you are committed to your craft and believe to keep serious photography relevant then simply keep watch of postings and links on the website to learn more and track our growth. The concept and event already has impressive support from the community across the US and we will grow this to be a significant annual event.
